“Breaking Dawn” zonder Ashley en Kellan?

Volgens het onderstaande artikel hebben enkele castmembers, waaronder Ashley en Kellan, nog geen contract ondertekend voor “Breaking Dawn“.

EXCLUSIVE: Summit Entertainment is working furiously to close the talent deals required to split Stephenie Meyer’s fourth “Twilight” novel into two films. But an unlikely roadblock is holding up an announcement — and could even lead to cast changes for the series’ final installment.

The studio is close to finalizing agreements with leads Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, all of whom will get big raises to return for a fifth installment of the vampire romance saga. And director Bill Condon is already signed to film two “Breaking Dawn” movies, which would be shot back-to-back starting in the fall and released in November 2011 and summer 2012, respectively.

But Summit is having a harder time locking in some of the franchise’s secondary characters. Deals for Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle Cullen) and Billy Burke (Bella’s father, Charlie Swan) are done, but we’re told the actors who play the Cullen kids (especially Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene) are trying to sink their teeth into bigger paydays that, at least at this point, the studio behind the billion-dollar franchise is unwilling to provide. “We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point,” says a source close to the dealmaking.

So are we headed for a recasting on the final “Twilight”?

“Eclipse” Soundtrack wordt via MySpace bekend gemaakt

Vandaag (of eerder vanacht voor België en Nederland) zou de Eclipse Soundtrack bekend gemaakt worden via MySpace.

Last week, we learned that British rock lords Muse will return for a Twilight three-peat on the upcoming third soundtrack installment in as many movies for that obscure little book series (is it about werewolves? vampires? hobbits? We really can’t recall).

Anyhow, MySpace tells EW exclusively that they will unveil the full soundtrack roster for Twilight:Eclipse, beginning Wednesday, May 12, at 11am EST/8am PST … and continuing on for many hours, at the rate of one band reveal every half hour. (We will do our best to update you in real time here; you can also get the updates on Twitter via @MySpaceMusic).

Heeft David Slade ‘Twilight’ gered?

Before I get started, keep in mind that I am not what you’d call a fan of the Twilightfranchise. Don’t get too riled up because I should clarify that I don’t hate it either, it all comes down to the fact that the Cullens just aren’t my type of bloodsucker. Now what I do love is a good pop culture phenomena and that’s exactly what this tale of fang-crossed lovers is. Unfortunately for fans of the series, these movies have never gotten much respect from the non-fans (myself included), but the doubters might have to eat their words this summer, because early reviews for Eclipse, the third installment, have been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m starting to wonder if we have David Slade to thank for that.

Like most of us out there who are less than devoted to the story of the ‘Veggie’ vamps, the announcement that Slade (30 Days of Night and the awesome thrillerHard Candy) was going to take the helm for the third installment of the story was a bit of a head-scratcher, but things started to fall into place after I saw the final trailer. Slade’s contribution looks nothing like the previous two films, and we’ve got a bad-guy who won’t just wander out of the narrative, flashes of wolf vs. vampire battles, and even Dakota Fanning getting the chance to ‘flex her fangs’.

Slade is known as a director with ‘edge’, and that’s what I think the Twilight films have always been missing. There is a definite lack of thrills in these movies, and I don’t care how sanitized a version it may be, Twilight is about vampires, which means that at the core of it all, it’s about: violence, danger and sex. Which, judging by Slade’s previous films, are themes that are near and dear to the director’s heart. So judging by what we’ve seen (and heard) about Eclipse so far, I think Slade might have managed to put his own twisted stamp on the story of Edward and Bella (even if he had to fight Summit for the chance) and personally I couldn’t be happier, because it’s about time somebody made these movies a little more dangerous.

Beste Bezoekers,

Ik had jullie een bericht achtergelaten gisteren met daarin dus over het mogelijke locatie als het door zal gaan. Ik heb nu weer een mail gekregen dat Independent Films de Twilight Marathon op zo’n 30 locaties gaat houden verspreid over Nederland dus je kies je eigen locatie wat voor jou het makkelijkste en beste uitkomt! Ik hoop dat iedereen hier nu mee opgelucht kunnen zijn en er nu meerdere mensen er geïnteresseerd zijn. Ik zou nog steeds willen weten of jullie dit nog steeds leuk vinden en dit steeds nog wilt doorgeven. Hieronder nogmaals het bericht en schrap de informatie over Amsterdam eraf want het is op meerdere locaties. Nogmaals dit is nog allemaal in de onderhandeling en is nog niet bevestigd of het echt doorgaat. Als er genoeg interesses zijn dan kunt dit verder worden voortgezet.

We hebben een e-mail ontvangen over een mogelijke Twilight Marathon. Hiermee wordt er bedoelt dat er dan een marathon wordt gehouden met eerst ‘Twilight’ en ‘New Moon’ vertoond en dan om 12 uur ‘s nachts de eerste vertoning van ‘Eclipse’ wordt gedraaid. Deze marathon wordt dan in een grote bioscoop gehouden en waarschijnlijk met mogelijke activiteiten. Via de mail is aan ons gevraagd of we een bericht konden plaatsen of er genoeg interesses zijn voor dit. Het gaat ervan uit dat dit wordt gehouden in een bioscoop in Amsterdam dus voor de Belgen is dit lastiger. Deze Twilight Marathon is nog niet vastgesteld en we willen jullie vragen of jullie dit leuk vinden. Als je erin geïnteresseerd bent en je zou een Twilight Marathon willen hebben geef dan je reactie door naar info@twilight-online.nl of via de ‘Plaats een reactie’ met daarin dat je dit leuk lijkt. Als er genoeg mensen ervoor in zijn zal deze evenement worden voortgezet. Vertel dit door of stuur dit door naar al je vrienden die fan zijn van twilight of ze dit ook leuk vinden. Eerste single bevestigd voor ‘Eclipse’ Soundtrack

Eindelijk is er wat meer bekend over de ‘Eclipse’ soundtrack. Zoals de vorige twee soundtracks is Muse weer van de partij om de soundtrack te komen met een gloednieuw nummer “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)”. De single komt uit op 17 mei en de soundtrack zal in de winkels liggen op 8 juni. Hieronder het officiële bericht van Stephenie Meyer’s officiële site en volg @EclipseSoundtrk op twitter voor meer informatie over de ‘Eclipse’ Soundtrack en de nieuwe single van Muse.

The first single on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” has just been confirmed and I get to bring you the exclusive details. Stephenie’s very favorite band, Muse, has contributed a song called “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” and it’s the first single from the project. It will be out on May 17th. I haven’t heard it yet, but I am very excited. The official soundtrack will also be available on June 8th. You can pre-order the Eclipse soundtrack here.
