It’s a big day for Twihards. First Maggie Grace signs on to play Irina. Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment ofThe Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death,will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.

Summit Entertainment is remaining mum on the issue. But to see Foy’s angelic face, which could very well be the offspring of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, check out her website.

Maggie Grace is gecast in “Breaking Dawn”

Maggie Grace has been cast as vampire Irina in Breaking Dawn, Gossip Cop has confirmed.

Grace is perhaps best known for her stint on “Lost” and role as Liam Neeson’s imperiled daughter in Taken.

Her “Twilight Saga” character is a member of the Denali coven who blames the Cullen clan for the death of her lover.

The first of the two Breaking Dawn installments will be released in November 2011.

Kellan & Cam zijn gecast voor The Ring 3D. Kellan speelt de rol van Mike Kesseler en Cam speelt de rol van Rickey Fuller en zullen naast bekende acteurs staan zoals Hayden Panetierre, Sophia Bush en Penn Badgley.

The film revolves around the events that took place before The Ring. It tells the story of the years before the video tape came to be and the beginning of how Samara’s terror began. Written by Eliza Sphink. Set for release 2012. Kellan has been cast as Mike Kessler and Cam Ricky Fuller!

Set 30 years before the original, The Ring Three sees a young Samara Morgan cast away to a psychotic unit, thrust away from normality. Mentally unstable and in-animate, Samra vows to get revenge on her tormentors before she is tragically killed and dispersed down a well, however, unbeknown to her twisted parents and local pretty-girl Mary-Elizabeth Winstead, a curse is about to be born, a curse which will later claim many lives, as the vengeful spirit of Samara is born.

Twilight Lovers Conventie 2011 Locatie bekend + Start Kaartverkoop

Hieronder het bericht van hun site Twilight Lovers (dit is de conventie van 2 april 2011).

Hallo twilightlovers,

Na lang zoeken hebben we een perfecte lokatie gevonden voor onze conventie! De conventie zal gegeven worden in de Geseldonk in Mierlo-hout.

Omdat de zaal niet te voet te bereiken is vanaf station Helmond zorgen wij dat er busjes zijn die gratis rijden vanaf station Helmond naar de Geseldonk en natuurlijk ‘s avonds ook terug!

Bij de lokatie hoort natuurlijk ook een toegangsprijs! De prijs van een kaartje is €10. Kaartjes kun je bestellen via info@twilightlovers.nl.

Er zullen verschillende workshops worden gegeven. Omdat niet iedereen mee kan doen met een workshop hebben wij besloten om voor de workshops een bijdrage te vragen.

Zo zal er een schilderworkshop gegeven worden waar je je van te voren voor moet inschrijven. Bij deze workshop wordt de kunst van pop-art uitgelegd en maak je je eigen twilight schilderij. De kosten voor deze workshop wordt €7,50 euro. Meer informatie en inschrijven komt in de loop van de week op de website.

Ook is er een workshop armbandjes maken. Dit is een doorlopende workshop waar je gewoon binnen mag lopen gedurende de hele dag. Voor €5 krijg je de bekende twilight bedeltjes een hartje en een wolfje, een armbandje en verschillende kralen zodat je er je eigen draai aan kan geven. Zo wordt het je eigen customized twilight armbandje.

Er wordt ook nog een workshop gegeven twilight t-shirt maken. Dit met behulp van hotfix glitterstenen. Voor €5 krijg je 3 zakjes steentjes, een meter folie en een potlood om je eigen t-shirt te customizen. Hou het forum in de gaten voor voorbeelden. Je kan bijvoorbeeld quotes maken, wolfjes etc. Wij vragen aan de mensen om hun eigen t-shirt mee te nemen zodat je een goed passend en leuk t-shirt krijgt.

Ook is er een gratis dansworkshop zodat je s’avonds je beste moves kan laten zien op het Fire & ice bal.
